Scam Alert!

Sadly, there are criminals attempting to capitalise on the Covid-19 vaccination programme. Norfolk County Council Trading Standards has issued a warning about scam vaccine texts.

  • Beware of the FAKE text message shown below, purporting to be from the NHS, offering a vaccine.
  • The link takes you to a FAKE NHS website which requests personal and financial details.
  • A genuine communication from the NHS or from your GP surgery will NOT ask you for any financial details.

If you receive a scam text message, please forward it to 7726 so the number and fake website can be taken down.

The Covid-19 vaccination is free to everyone. You will be contacted by your GP surgery when it's time for you to receive the vaccine.
