Dental Training School at UEA

If you follow my work you will know that I have spent the last six years campaigning to get a dental training school established at the UEA finally to fix Norfolk's dental desert.  We had a big win last month when the Government was persuaded to fund an additional 50 dental training places nationwide.  Now it looks like Norwich is going to be awarded 25 of those places each year.  This is enough for the UEA to get up and running, with the first students starting in September 2027.

Politics is full of frustration - campaigns that hit brick walls, funding that never materialises.  So it is lovely to get a real win that will improve lives in Norfolk for generations.  For all the criticisms chucked around, politics matters, and the occasional wins make it all worthwhile.
