Environmental Audit Committee

The Environmental Audit Committee met this morning, to hear evidence from the Rt Hon George Eustace, Secretary of State for Defra.

Jerome asked questions about food security and resilience to climate change. The challenge of improving yield and productivity whilst also protecting wildlife habitats and developing environmentally-friendly landscape management is considerable, and the work of the Committee will continue to explore these issues further.
