Fakenham Post Office Update

Following the overwhelming results of my survey calling for a permanent Post Office in Fakenham (https://www.jeromemayhew.org.uk/postoffice), I have held a meeting with the Post Office to stress the importance of getting this delivered.

The update is that we have now got an applicant for a permanent Main Post Office in the town centre, with an additional applicant in reserve. At this stage, the Post Office cannot share further details until the due diligence process has been completed and a contract signed.

I will update residents as soon as I hear further but I hope that we will be in a position to announce good news by the Autumn.
