Question on Northern Ireland Protocol

Jerome was today reassured by the Rt Hon Michael Gove MP, Chancellor of the Duchy of Lancaster, that although the European Commission might not have understood the implications of the Northern Ireland Protocol, Joint Committee Vice President Maros Šefčovič has a different approach. 

We urgently need an outbreak of common sense in the implementation of the Protocol if we are not to see more paramilitary acts, and it is our hope that he will be able to provide it.
