An interesting session with the board of London St Pancras Highspeed (formally HS1).

The track could carry twice as many trains as is currently used by Eurostar. So let’s get some competition in to drive down prices and increase services.

CEO Robert Sinclair understands the importance of international open access and the vital role it plays in enhancing the UK economy. The government needs to support the challenger operators that are queuing up to get involved, even as they destroy competition everywhere else on the UK rail network.
