It was a pleasure to visit Reepham Primary School to meet with the Eco Council and to speak in a whole school assembly, where pupils asked fantastic questions — from the proposed social media ban for under 16s, to how I became an MP and how laws are made.
I finished the visit with a Q&A session with Year 6, discussing how they can make a difference in their local area — from reporting broken play equipment to their parish council, to understanding the differences between political parties.
Thank you to all the pupils and staff for such a warm welcome — I was really impressed by everyone’s enthusiasm and curiosity.
