Nuclear energy will be important to the long-term energy security of the UK and I recently visited the construction site of Sizewell C. Once completed, Sizewell C will contribute 7% of the UK energy needs.
This vast construction project will not only bring low carbon energy to the UK but huge career opportunities to Norfolk and Suffolk for apprenticeships and skilled workers.
