I am delighted by the news that inflation has fallen to 3.4%!
The risk to our economy of high inflation becoming embedded, and prices continuing to rise significantly, has been averted and we're on track to get back to target inflation of just 2%.
Alongside the Budget, this means:
we're cutting taxes
we're helping motorists
we're supporting families and children
we're keeping to our commitment of the 'Triple Lock'
most importantly, we're investing in Broadland and Fakenham -> the Queen Elizabeth Hospital Rebuild, the Norwich Western Link project, upgrading the A47, investing £6bn in mobile and broadband connection for rural communities and much more!
